KAIROS Calgary and the Calgary Homeless
Foundation (CHF) support families at risk of or
experiencing homelessness as they are rehoused
with support at Acadia Place - a 58-unit apartment complex in southeast Calgary.
- KAIROS Calgary represents 10 Christian denominations and about 130 churches.
- CHF oversees implementation of the 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness in Calgary.
Together, their goal is to:
- raise $1.5 million toward the mortgage on Acadia Place to provide lower rents for those most in need, and
- engage volunteers in building projects and tenant support.
